Text Box: Partnering with the Empire Zone has afforded Stanley Steemer a number of growth opportunities including the expansion of commercial space, an increase in employee base and, most notably, an increase in service offerings for the Western New York region. 

The recent expansion of commercial office and warehouse space has enabled Stanley Steemer to acquire 3 new vehicles and hire approximately 7 new associates, bringing operation totals to 12 vehicles and 29 associates, with revenues over $1.2 million.  

Additionally, Stanley Steemer has been able to expand on their reputation for providing professional carpet and upholstery cleaning services from their Text Box: signature yellow vans to include a number of new services for both their residential and commercial customers including:

24-Hr Emergency Water Extraction/Restoration service
Fire/Water Damage Restoration
Air Duct Cleaning
Tile & Grout Cleaning
Hard Surface Cleaning
Strip/Wax Service
Drapery Cleaning

The decision to invest in these services was based strongly upon the benefits provided by the Empire Zone. The combination of tax credits, employee procurement assistance and sales tax exemptions to name a Text Box: few, has been instrumental in the investments made by Stanley Steemer. According to Stanley Steemer WNY President Dale See, “we have recognized the outstanding potential of the Western New York region and are committed to participating in the growth and development of the community”.

In Western New York we are continuing that tradition and our partnership with the Empire Zone and the community has resulted in our ability to experience continued growth and success”.

Text Box: The introduction of an Empire Zone to the Town of Tonawanda has created an exciting opportunity for the area.  While we have begun to capitalize on that opportunity, there is still work to be done.
As a Board, we are working to ensure that our Zone designation improves the ability of business to invest and thrive in the area and also enhances the quality of life for the residents of the Zone—namely residents of the Sheridan Parkside Village Text Box: Courts.
